Ibrahim had already played a match with Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan when he had arrived from England last year and so, when Bunty asked him to join the AFSC Club, he was immediately onboard. Soon, he will start practising with Abhishek, Ranbir, Arjun Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and other five players of the team and is a frontrunner in the race to making it into the playing 11, given that he is already a good player.
Confirming the same, Bunty exults, “Ibrahim is very good at football. He deserves to be here. I welcome him with open arms.”
While he wears his love for football on his sleeves, Ibrahim has never hinted at plans to make a film debut. However, sister Sara Ali Khan, who made her Bollywood debut three years ago, had once revealed that he dreams to be one. Actor-father Saif Ali Khan, too, had recently said, “He should, he’s looking good, better looking than I am! He’s a very charming guy. I definitely think all my children would be interested in acting. We’re an acting family, the whole bunch of us are in the industry.”
Meanwhile, All Stars Football Club matches were scheduled to start this month in Dubai, Bengaluru, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, but with the virus still at large, they have been postponed, and Bunty will be announcing the new dates soon. So, for now, the stars have started practising.
